ABOUT THE CAPTAIN

FB_IMG_1625244953928.jpg

CAPTAIN DOMINIC SNELL

Originally from the Copper Country, I realized how spoiled I was after working for an array of boats and ships, such as: Cruise Lines, Coast Guard auxiliary, Dolphin/Sight Seeing Tours, Parasailing and even Great Lakes Freighters. These are just a few of the numerous experiences I've had on the water. After having an opportunity to come back home to work locally on a ship as a Helmsman, I've returned to the Keweenaw with a new passion for the peace and beauty I once took for granted. Recognizing this, and then having the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for history and geological beauty, it was a no brainer to start my own tour business.

I hope you walk away from these tours feeling like a local, and revived with appreciation for the surrounding area. I aim to inspire you to dream of coming back to explore the boundless beauty of the U.P.
